CRICKET IS NOT JUST A SPORT HERE....IT IS A RELIGION !!

INDIA.....
The first thing that comes to most of us when we hear this word is.... naaaah... we cant think of single word. There are multiple words that will strike my mind (at least). But if u consider the intersection of these words, then CRICKET stands on the top of the list!! Yeah.. this country has gone crazy about this sport...literally MAD.

In a country with over 110 Billion people generally u expect many Religions. But ironically... when it comes to sport then
CRICKET is the only RELIGION we know!! yeah... CRICKET is treated at par with any religion in this nation.

From
6 to 90, From street children to the Professionals working in MNCs,From people walking on the roads to the people traveling in air crafts.... everyone is crazy about this sport.

What prompted me to write an article on Cricket is.... i was traveling in a city bus few days back and there was a huge traffic jam.In an unplanned city like Hyderabad these traffic jams happen atregular intervals. They are inevitable. &
added to that there was cricket match INDIA Vs ENGLAND !! its a DO or DIE match for INDIA!! I can sense the nerves of the passengers...how eager they were to see it live on TV.But these bloody bull-shit traffic jams are stopping them from watching it live. Then one of them was hearing the commentary on a FM radio station. He started his running commentary...that helped the poor passengers who were struck in the traffic. The situation was very tense...and ppl who never met one another earlier also started sharing their views about CRICKET.That was the only past time in traffic for them.Everyone has his own opinion about indian cricket. Some want DRAVID to be dropped down from captaincy and SAURAV should be handed it over. Some want Sehwag to be brought into the team again. and this healthy discussion slowly lead to a DEBATE. Few section of ppl supporting VVS LAXMAN(as he is from HYD) and few were opposing that.Few supporting dravid..few opposing him.

But everyones opinion was same when it came to one man. The man who served for almost
two decades for indian cricket & still going strong. They want him to stay in the team forever and ever. They cant even imagine indian cricket without him.He is our very own little master blaster, our hero & also our inspiration....SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR.
yeah.... if
"CRICKET is the RELIGION in INDIA then SACHIN is our GOD!!"

This is the reason why we treat him so...
Sir Don Bradman had said that Sachin plays the way he used to in his prime. Sunny Gavaskar believes Sachin was the best player in Bombay when he was just thirteen and hadn't played a single domestic match. Shane Warne feels that the little man is better than world record holder Brian Lara as he has absolutely no weakness. Greg Chappel feels that Sachin doesn't need a bat out in the middle; a single stump would be more than enough. The entire cricket world is convinced of one thing : Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar is the world's best batsman. Not just for his extraordinary skill, not just for his ability to tear even the most formidable of bowling attacks to shreds; but also for a rare never-say-die spirit, an insatiable hunger for runs and victory, a desire to dominate the opponent ; commitment, dedication ... these are what the little champion has built his reputation on. As Aussie Mark Waugh, another champion batsman, points out "His aggression, his knowledge of his abilities and limitations and his awareness of what the opposition bowlers are capable of are what make him remarkable. He always tries to control and dominate and this makes him an extremely dangerous player when he gets going."

CRICKET knows no other religion..as CRICKET itself is treated as a religion here.
Long live INDIAN CRICKET,Long live little MASTER!!

KIMI's BIKE!! It's FANTABULOUS !!

Kimi Raikkonen-- the ICEMAN, the FLYING FINN are his nicknames & in fact they both perfectly suit him!! He does justice to these names(NO...after looking at his racing skills only they must have given him these names.... now plz dont ask me who are they!! lol).

When it comes to overtaking on the race track i have never seen any other driver other than schumi who is as aggressive as KIMI is!! and off the track also i have never seen any other guy who is as ultra-cool as this FINN is. He is KOOL both by looks and maturity levels!!(which is a very rare breed).May be this is one of the reasons y he is also called the successor of schumi.
But if there is something which this HYPER-COOL chap lacks then it should be undoubtedly luck.
2 out of 5 times it be the mechanical failure of his car!! coz of which his race ends mid-way.

In my view his name should have been... KIMI(KOOL) RAIKKONEN.

Presenting u here is the bike of KIMI .......ICEMAN written over it. I found this bike to be as cool as he is. I hope even U will like it.

Dedicated to all software engineers who take up CAT

NOTE: This is not my genuine work(copied version of an e-mail).Contains some quality stuff(MISS @ ur own risk).

CAT-Common Admission Test. Probably the toughest exam to crack in the world today. The major chunks of people who take up CAT are Software Engineers with an experience of 0-3 years. I have been also a part of this "Junta". Here are five reasons why software engineers treat writing CAT as “religion".
The first reason is some people hate to code. These are the group of people
who don't get a shit out of Mainframe, Java or Dot Net. These are the people who are still confused between the difference of "Classes" and “Objects". These are the people who get at least ten errors per line of code they write. These are the group of people who hate to hear terms such as "Defect","Enhancement","Unit Testing".
The second reason why people take up cat is "joblessness". Yes people on “Bench". Some of these guys wanted to be hot shot computer programmers but
end up just playing computer games to pass their free time. One of my friends used to dream of joining "Google" one day. He got a campus placement in one of the well known software companies of India. He was so good that he topped in his training batch. But would u believe me this guy is on "Bench" for the past one and a half years. First week on bench he played computer games. Second week he spoke to his Project Manager and asked him to install some software so that he can learn something. His Project Manager denied him giving a reason "Project Cost". Third week he just felt "helpless" sitting idle in office. Fourth week he decided to take Up CAT.
The third reason is "Money & Opportunities". As most of you would have been reading in various magazines and internet websites that average salaries in leading B-schools are more than 10 l
acs pa. I can bet that any Software Engineer in any of the software service majors in this country cannot reach this figure in the next five years. Frankly speaking I feel that the job of software engineers is equal in challenge to the job of B-school grads. If the challenge is same ...why not the salaries...? When software engineers don’t get an answer to this question, one day they decide to go for the bucks...and join a B-school.
The fourth reason is the reason which caused "Ramayana" and "Mahabharata".
Yes you got it right "girlfriends". One of my roommates got a call from his baby just before his CAT exams and she said "do well at least for me". This guy got so excited that he ended up attempting 65 out of 75 questions in
CAT this year. Another friend of mine says that he wants to pursue a technical career but he says that his girlfriend wants him to doManagement. She told him that her brother has a MBA degree from a top B-school, so he should also have one. Bullshit!! If I were my friend I would have ditched her that day coz you cannot get any silly reason for taking up CAT than this.
The last reason is "Following the crowd." These groups of people write CAT because everyone else around them is writing. These are the people who perform the worst in the exam and give a push up to other people percentiles.
Whatever is the reason, one fine Sunday morning in November they would all assemble in some examination center in some part of the country to take up a challenge called as "CAT”.

Vijay Hooooooo !!

FORMULA ONE(F1) Racing, the sport which contains more adrenaline rush than any other sport, cars weighing about 600KG, with 2400CC and 300BHP cruising away on the track with temperature ranging from 50 to 90 degrees at a deadly speed of 300Kmph.... the electrifying atmosphere, the ecstatic crowd, the fast and the furious cars on track and the charming and most elegant racers in the cock-pit.......WOW!! the scene for me is just WOWWWW!!

I started watching F1 3 years back.At that time it was just another sport for me.But today it is more like a passion.F1 is as important as CRICKET,for me at least.and this passion became double overnight when the liquor baron of india Mr. VIJAY MALLYA has bought the F1 racing team SPYKER FERRARI for 90million EUROS!! There were no bounds for the F1 crazy fans in INDIA.The chances of watching F1-LIVE on track became more now.Ironically the fastest indian NARAIN KARTHIKAIN also made his F1 debut from this team.Earlier it was JORDAN, then the dutch spyker bought the loss making Jordan.

Vijay Mallya was on a shopping spree these days!! yeah... shopping of companies!!
Initially he bought WHITE & MACKAY,a scotch whisky firm under UB(united beweries) and became one of the top scotch whisky producer in the world. Then he purchased 26% stake in DECCAN AVIATION which was under captain GOPINATH.and now he eyed F1.Infact this is not the first time he has entered motor sport.I have never seen such an enthusiastic fan of MOTOR SPORTS of his age in INDIA. His KINGFISHER was the official sponsor of TOYOTA F1 team.
Force India F1
VIJAY MALLYA gets things done by some means...be it by willingness of the target company or by applying brute force techniques!! He is a man with huge interest in sports.... some of his key positions in various sports....

SOCCER: owns east bengal & mohun bagan.
TENNIS: sponsors the ATP Kingfisher Open.
HORSE RACING: Owns 150horses. president of karnataka racehorseowners association. He is also the main sponsor of INDIAN DERBY.
MOTORSPORT: he is the chairman of the motorsports association of india(MAI). and the Federation of motor sports clubs of india.

Now that INDIA also owns a F1 team from 2008 the chances of an INDIAN GP are mighty high. This became even more mightier when the CEO of F1 bernie ecclestone's visit to india a couple of weeks back. He gave a Green signal. Now the rest is with INDIAN gov. lets c how well indian gov makes use of this golden opportunity. If we r successful in bagging this chance then the wheels of fortune of india are going to change forever! it will do a world of good to our country.India will come more into the limelight.Indian tourism can also be promoted.

for now..just hoping to watch NARAIN back on track as soon as possible.
VIJAY HOOOOOOOOOOOO!! VIJAY MALLYA ROX!!
